Mac von Maasen is a stunning 18 month old purebred sable German Shepherd. He definitely has the traits of a working dog and loves a job. He is so smart and loves learning! Check out his video! At the rescue he loves all the staff, loves affection, likes to push his head under your hand for pets. He is great in daily playgroups and makes friends easily. In a prior home he lived with an active male, they loved playing together, also lived with a Maltese. Mac sadly lost his home because he worried too much about the kids, in the pool or out on a walk. He just couldn’t relax, he worried too much about them, so he will do best in a home with older children or no children. He is also housebroken and has good house manners. We have seen Mac be cautious around new people and needs a confident owner who could take charge and make sure introductions were done carefully. With a little work Mac is a dog of a life time!
